Jim has traveled worldwide as a National Geographic photographer, but now works primarily from his studio on Moose Lake near Ely. See his photos at galleries in Ely and Luverne, MN.

Chris is a professional photographer who specializes in editorial nature photography and active outdoor portraits. His wife, children, and black lab are his biggest fans. They live in Cambridge, Minnesota.

Gary, an engineer from Robins, Iowa, has been carrying a camera into wild places since his first backpacking trip in 1976. He looks forward to annual fall Boundary Waters trips.

Ken is a retired Ely teacher for whom photography has always been more than a hobby. He specialized in sports before his retirement, and now has added wildlife to his areas of expertise.

Kahsha is a biology and arts student at University of Minnesota Morris, and Ely is her hometown. She made her first canoe trip to Quetico when she was five weeks old and has been returning often since then.

Bill has been enjoying the BWCA- Quetico area since he and his wife first visited in 1974. In the late 70s, he built a log cabin in the Ely area that he now uses as a base for trips.

David is a Minneapolis-based wedding and portrait photographer and former Outward Bound instructor who loves the north woods and sneaks off to photograph nature as often as he can.

Photographer of Wild Minnesota, Gary is a native Minnesotan who has won awards for his photography of wild places and vanishing rural landscapes across the US. He lives in Lindstrom, Minnesota.

Inspired by spontaneous meanderings near her home in Ely, Heidi Mae's photography awakens a play of light, motion, and color; he Boundary Waters sense of inner peace.

Rose and her husband moved to the woods near Ely after having tried out most of the fifty states on camping trips. Memories of the Boundary Waters outshone them all.

Terry was Program Director at the B.S.A. Canoe Base in Ely and is now retired. His photos have been featured in national Wildlife Federation publications and Ely art festivals and websites.

Ken works as an engineer for Honeywell when he's not adventuring in the north woods. He founded Arrowhead Photography, which specializes in the wild and rugged scenery of northeast Minnesota.

Brent has done a September trip to the BWCA with his high school buddies for the past 24 years. He works in accounting, and photography is a hobby done mostly in the BWCA.
