Gary, an engineer from Robins, Iowa, has been carrying a camera into wild places since his first backpacking trip in 1976. He looks forward to annual fall Boundary Waters trips.

Ken is a retired Ely teacher for whom photography has always been more than a hobby. He specialized in sports before his retirement, and now has added wildlife to his areas of expertise.

Kahsha is a biology and arts student at University of Minnesota Morris, and Ely is her hometown. She made her first canoe trip to Quetico when she was five weeks old and has been returning often since then.
