Sharon Hathaway

Sharon, illustrator for Hauling Water, is a younger sister to the author, Becca Brin Manlove. Sharon loved to draw as a child and showed talent at a young age. She earned a B.A. in Studio Art from the College of St. Benedict in St. Joseph, MN. Sharon’s work was accepted into the highly competitive Northern Lights Juried Art Shows in White Bear Lake, MN in 1987, ’89, ‘91, ‘94, and she won the Award of Excellence in 1996. 

      She moved to the New Jersey bay-shore area in 2000, where she lives with her husband and two children. Sharon is represented by Beacon Fine Arts Gallery in Red Bank, NJ. Sharon’s paintings can be found on the Beacon Fine Arts web site and on her Facebook page.  Her drawings and acrylic paintings are in numerous private collections and her paintings of the Seven Sacraments are hanging in the Church of St. Catherine in Middletown, NJ.
