William Durbin

William Durbin lives on Lake Vermilion, in northern Minnesota. He is a former high school and college English teacher, and is a popular presenter at schools, libraries, and conferences throughout the U.S. His popular young adult titles are known for their appeal to reluctant readers as well as with those who already enjoy reading. Durbin's books have been included on many respected lists of recommended books and have won numerous awards, including two Minnesota Book Awards, a Northeast Minnesota Book Award, and a Great Lakes Booksellers Association Award. He is the author of Wintering.
